Our proprietary and patented suction anchor in GRP can anchor large installations for the oil and gas industry or anchor wind turbines and fish farms, for example.
Composite is an efficient, lightweight material that often saves 40 percent weight compared to steel. The cylindrical anchor makes it more durable and harder to break. The steel elements are suitable for penetrating the seabed.
The anchor is corrosion-free and is designed so that it can be reused and does not remain on the seabed.
The suction anchor is patented by Compocean, which is now part of Brimer, and the demo has been successfully installed at a depth of 75 meters.
