What does an apprentice do at Brimer ?
IN Brimer you have the chance to learn a practical subject. You must be willing to learn, use your hands and produce parts our customers are proud of. We make tanks and vessels that provide people all over the world with clean water, good food and safe workplaces.
You'll learn how to manufacture, repair and maintain, using both your hands and machines to do the job. With us, you will receive training in the various machines and techniques you need.
What is polymer composite?
Polymer composite is a material that has high quality, great strength, low weight and has little impact on the environment. More and more people are using this in their products. IN Brimer Among other things, we supply solutions for farming, industry, water and sewage in the municipalities and offshore.
How is the working environment?
There is a good atmosphere at work, and there are many different people here. Both in the canteen and on the boat out to work if you need it, you will meet pleasant colleagues who both want to help you master your job and who like to laugh and joke a bit.
How do I get to work?
Our apprentices work at the factory on Kvamsøya. There are separate commuter routes with the boat M/SLiv from Larsnes, Voksa and Åram, and people commute from various parts of Søre Sunnmøre to work with us.
What kind of education can I have to become an apprentice at Brimer ?
The easiest way to an apprenticeship with is to go Vg1 Technology and industrial subjects and Vg2 Industrial technology.
