Brimer and Nordic Halibut enter into collaboration on new fish farming facility – 76 tanks to be delivered to Torjulvågen

Brimer has entered into a significant contract with Nordic Halibut for the supply of fish farming tanks for the company's new land-based facility in Torjulvågen. A total of 76 complete tanks will be manufactured at Brimer's factory on Kvamsøya and installed in the new facility, which will provide over 3,000 square meters of space for the halibut to frolic.
– This is an important project both for us and for the development of Nordic Halibut. We are proud to be part of this initiative, says Fredrik Ryslett, Sales Manager for land-based aquaculture in Brimer .
Efficiency and quality in focus
Ryslett emphasizes that to realize a project of this size within a tight construction time frame, cost-effective solutions are required for both production, shipping and assembly.
“This is something we work on in all our projects around the world. Our experience and flexibility enable us to adapt solutions to each individual project,” he says.
Brimer has over 50 years of experience in developing and building fish farms in various climatic and geographical conditions. The company places great emphasis on quality and adaptation, and believes that this contributes to improving the living conditions of the fish and strengthening the competitiveness of both land- and sea-based industries.
A good collaboration
Edvard Henden, CEO of Nordic Halibut, says that the process of finding the optimal solution for the new facility has been good, and that he looks forward to further collaboration with Brimer .
– We have a strong team that works purposefully to find the best solutions, and we thank Nordic Halibut for their trust, concludes Ryslett.
